How is our Memory Care Setting Unique?
Our size
We provide one of the smallest Memory Care programs in New York State, at only 15 beds. This allows our staff to get to know each resident personally while providing closer supervision and individual services.
Our setting
We provide a neighborhood setting that includes a beautifully decorated living room area along with generous dining room space and access to an outdoor courtyard, and a private sunroom. In addition, residents have an option of a large private apartment and private bathroom or a companion suite option for those who prefer to know they are not alone in a suite.
Our people
We dedicate ourselves to a shared philosophy that only excellence is acceptable. Our staff goes through a interview process along with a complete background check and a thorough training process that allows for them to understand the importance of our mission and provides all the necessary tools to be a successful caregiving member of our family at Camillus Ridge Terrace.
Our Program
Over the years we have developed a program that includes not only activities that engage individuals and help keep people well, but also provides meaningful purpose in everyday life. Our residents are a part of a wider community and we make genuine effort to getting all residents to participate in daily life with motivating, activities that include baking, craft making, taking scenic rides, enjoying local live musical entertainment and so much more.
However, our program is more than providing appealing activities. We allow people to feel at home, helping residents know that they are truly cared for as part of our family. While having the privilege of caring for older adults for more than 40 years, at the Terrace we have developed a strong focus on providing quality person-centered services that enable individuals to thrive in a supportive, caring and engaging community.
